Mark Seyforth is no stranger to the mlm spotlight. And with his new company One24, he's back in the limelight again. Of course, being in the spotlight in this industry makes you a target as well.
So in this mlm review, we're going to take a deeper look into who Mark Seyforth is, what his goals are for the company, and whether or not these factors will help you build your own successful One24 business.
We'll start with a quick summary of the company before get into dissecting Mr. Seyforth's business life. One24 is a health and wellness mlm company that currently has one product, Natraburst, which is made up of a lot of powerful natural ingredients with lots of science backing them. Mark Seyforth is the founder of course, and his old friend and previous partner Joe Perry is the President.
The One24 marketing plan is very unique in this industry, and the comp plan promises to be an extremely lucrative one.
Now all of these descriptions of One24 are rather broad, I know. But we'll actually get into more detail in this mlm review on several of these points as we unfold Mark's vision and plan for the company and its' distributors. Let's start with the compensation plan.
Mark Seyforth created this pay plan for One24, and here's where we really begin to look at whether Mr. Seyforth is very innovative and forward thinking, or if he is a little off the mark with this one.
Time for a little history lesson first. Mark Seyforth and Joe Perry launched their first company in 1975 called Seyforth Laboratories, Inc. that boasted a couple of major industry firsts. Mark and Joe created the very first milkshake diet ever sold in the U.S., and they also created the very first multi-level back-end commissioning program to go with it.
Personally, I find that impressive. It was extremely successful, with 160k reps coming on board over a three year period. Remember now, this was BEFORE the advent of the internet we know and leverage today. So I would have to say that both of these creations demonstrate the creativity, boldness and futuristic thinking of Mark Seyforth and Joe Perry.
Mark went on to successfully align himself with other companies, and actually created the compensation plans for several other companies as well. Most notably, he joined forces with the founder of Herbalife, Mark Hughes, in 1980, developing the comp plan for this company, and manufacturing all of their products at that time through his company Seyforth Manufacturing, Inc.
Now let's bring this mlm review up to the present day.
Mark Seyforth has created yet another compensation plan for his new company, One24, and this one is definitely different from anything I've come across in my reviews of mlm companies.
The One24 marketing plan is called IRP, which is short for Incentivized Referral Plan and it works hand and hand with a linear compensation plan. I am not going to even begin to try and explain the 4 ways to get paid and all about the "green tickets" and the "goldrush." I don't think I would do it justice, and you can just run on over to the company site and let Mark Seyforth do the explaining for you in his video series.
Iwill, however, look at the basic idea behind this structure so that you can get a good feel for the strengths and weaknesses of it. First off, you have to get on a waiting list to get in. Once on the list, you have to wait for your enroller to have a green ticket available for you each active rep gets 24 green tickets and can use only one a month to remove someone from their list and add them to their downline.
Now they also have this thing called the goldrush that takes place once a month in which all of the unused green tickets for that month become available for other reps to remove more people from their list and add them to their active team. I see both positive and negative with this game plan. Is it innovative and powerful? Absolutely! Will it work? Only time will tell. But let me share the good and the bad and let you draw your own conclusions. First, Mark had a great idea with this list thing. There's no selling or pressure, and he uses a great sales closing strategythe "take away." People often want what they can't have.
Forcing members to build their mlm home businesses in this manner also prevents the company from getting too big too fast and crashing as a result. Okay, they're the good points.
Now this is the negative as I see it, and I'm certain that a man of Mark Seyforth's vision and intelligence has already thought of this, and may have even developed a plan to circumvent this problem. The major problem I see is for all of those folks who have landed on the lists of highly successful network marketers and who are way, way down the list to receive a green ticket.
Seriously, it's not that hard to generate 50 new targeted leads every day if you have the right ongoing training, tools and resources at your fingertips all wrapped up in the mlm business system you use. So it's not at all outrageous to consider that some of these top earners using such a system may already have 100, 200 or even 500 people on their One24 waiting list.
In other words, if you are number 150 on someone's waiting list, and they can only use 1 ticket every month, then even with the "goldrush," how are you ever going to make it to the active list and start earning income?
As I said, Mark Seyforth probably already has a plan for this contingency, so I'm going to do some more research to see what I can learn.
