Marines And Military Men Undertake Liposuction To Make Weight
It is not only beautiful and famous celebrities who undergo plastic surgeries like liposuction
, even marines and military men are now considering and undertaking liposuction procedures. This just verifies the inroads and cost value that this amazing procedure has proved to be. If someone is valuable to the team but is overweight, this is not an option that is being seen on many tables.
Marines need to maintain their Weight
Many marines like Gunnery Sgt. Torres who have the perfect build do not necessarily fit the bill when it comes to being a marine, these men have to weigh within a certain standard limit and that is important to their career. Not fitting into the profile of a marine because of a few extra pounds is something that would bother people who are passionate and committed enough to enlist into the U.S. Marine Corps. So much so that many marines take crash diets or starve themselves, some take appetite suppressants and laxatives and all this is done just so that they can fit within the weight standards. This is actually quite common in other branches of the military as well.
Drastic Measures
Sgt. Torres weights 178 pounds, which is 8 pounds more than the standard weight limit for his height and neck circumference and he is now considering Liposuction to shed those extra pounds. As Sgt. Torres states, marines might put their careers into jeopardy if they do not fit inside those weight limits and so it is now becoming a common practice in the military to lose weight somehow just before their scheduled physical tests. One wonders how many marines have faced this situation and turned to a drastic solution to shed some pounds. Every recruit that enlists or signs up to be an officer in the marines knows there are tight weight restrictions.
