Losing Weight Does Not Just Happen Overnight
Why do so many people, including many of us, not have the success in losing weight that we are after
? All of us go at this with open eyes and every good intention, but in the end many of us fall short of achieving the weight loss that we seek.
One of the leading reasons is realizing that this is not a change that happens overnight. Many of us realize that it will not happen overnight, we do not realize that this is a goal that requires a life changing effort. That is right, losing weight and keeping it off is not a short term goal, but requires us to make changes that need to be followed for the remainder of our lives!
Now dont get discouraged, yet! It is not as hard as it seems to make this type of life changing efforts. It has been proven that it takes less than 30 days to really make the changes that can carry us through the rest of our lives. The key is to really make the change that we are looking for within those 30 days.
Because many of these changes take more than 30 days to put into our lives, the clock doesnt start until we actually make all of the changes necessary to achieving these lifetime goals. So you have to break it down into realizing when we have all of those changes into place and keeping them for those 30 days.
First is our diets, we need to work on putting into place the program that we have set out to change. Putting those foods that we need to eat, removing those temptations from our lives that we need to avoid, and realizing the portions that are required to achieve the goals that we have set. Even though most of us start off quickly on diet programs, it still takes time to follow them the way that they are designed, but once we have the clock starts!
Same with the exercise programs that we start, at first we may not be physically able to perform the routines that are necessary to achieve the goals that we have set, so we must work up to them in increments that are both beneficial and safe given the state at which our bodies can do. Once we have built up to the routine that is needed to achieve our goals, the clock start here!
We may not get both started at the same time, or reach the levels that we need to achieve our goals at the same time once we have them to the level that we need, then our live changing clock starts to making the life changing efforts that is needed to not only lose the weight that we are looking to make, but also make the life changing routines that will allow us to keep off the weight that we worked so hard to lose in the first place.
Please dont get discouraged if this sounds more difficult than you thought it was going into it. It really is not, and we make these types of changes all the time whether it is making a change in routine at the office, home or our social lives that we make all the time. So stick with it and just keep in mind that this is not an goal that can be achieved overnight, so dont get discouraged when it takes some more time to achieve and a little more effort trust me You are Worth the Efforts!
