Looking To Improve A Party Or Wedding? Look At Printed Banners For Them
Most people associate the use of printed banners as a means of advertising events
, companies or businesses. This is because they are positioned in numerous places around the community including shopping centres, along roadsides or hanging from bridges displaying a consortium of publicity needs. A relatively new concept in this field however uses them to improve a party or wedding. The question is just how can one achieve this goal. While some ideas appear quite obvious, some require you to think outside the square.
We have all been to a party in an unknown area and driven up and down the street looking for its location. While some people use balloons, streamers, cheap plastic signs or hand written posters to attract your attention, a more personal professional looking and longer lasting printed banner may be more effective. While they can be pinned to a garden gate or attached via rope to poles and trees, the freestanding version overcomes this restriction. The event has already improved as people arrive relaxed and hassle free.
The same can be said for a wedding. You may be attending the reception in a venue that is conducting two, three or even more events at the same time. By having a personalised printed banner within easy sight at the door just may save some embarrassment for your guests, as they will not enter the wrong reception.
Perhaps you could have a printed banner inside the wedding or party to improve the appearance of the venue. This is especially relevant if the party is being held at a local hall or any venue that you have to provide the decorations. The design of the banner may follow the theme and decor of the event, match the reason for the event, incorporate sayings or images relevant to the party holder or bride and groom or be a collage of photos for amusement and enjoyment. You are only really limited by the restrictions placed on you by the printing company.
For the environmentally conscious it also reduces the need for the use balloons and streamers and even if it is printed on unfriendly material, there is less chance of throwing out such a personal souvenir.
Another idea involves having people write messages on the printed banner during the event. Similar to the old pen and guest book that gets passed around and written on, this too becomes a much-prized memento of the day. The receiver however is more likely, depending on size, to display it at home or at future events.
To really liven up and hence improve a wedding or party a printed banner may provide the games at the event. How much enjoyment would one receive by pinning the nose on a five year old party holders face, pinning the ball and chain on a bride or grooms wrist or pinning a glass of champagne in a 60 year old's hand. Sure gives a new twist to pin the tail on the donkey. By thinking creatively you could really personalise the games at any function.
Printed banners, if thought about creatively, can really personalise and improve any function, but especially parties and weddings.
