Keeping The Girls Happy And Neat With Plastic Headbands
The invention of plastics has made some accessories not only easy to come by
, but cheap and fun at the same time. The wild assortment of colors and shapes of hair accessories like plastic headbands made out of plastic makes the mind confused on which one to choose, which one to get, which is the best looking. Eventually, the whole array is bought and used.
Headbands are to keep the hair tidy and neatly off the face. Even historical records and illustrations show of headbands used by women. Making it out of plastic now only increased the popularity of the accessory. There are some that are very cheap, but there are also signature ones with Swarovski crystals or beads.
It is sometimes, no always, frustrating for a mother to see the long hair of a daughter get wild because it has not been tied back or kept in place by a plastic headband. Sometimes, squabbles between mothers and daughters over the headbands are just a part of life. Then there is the problem with the grip at the back of the ear where the ends of the headbands are found. Constant use can cause headaches if the headband is too tight or too small.
Plastic headbands are also a base for making make-believe accessories for little girls possible. There are some that are made to look like tiaras or crowns that accompany some costumes like tutus or princess outfits.
Some little girls can never get enough plastic headbands. There are even some who have so much on top of their vanity tables that one can get an impression of a riot of colors spread out that confuses the eye for a minute or two. Then of course, there is the aspect of having more than one daughter, I have to buy two of each every time to prevent hysterics why one has what the other doesn't have. As they are so cheap, and it keeps the hair neat, I have no qualms buying a boxful if need be. Anyway, I too use them, so it is really no big deal.
