Located within the national park you will also find the Booderee Botanic Gardens and the Royal Australian Naval College, known as HMAS Creswell.

If busy, popular and famous is what you are looking for in a beach, then the logical choice is Hyams Beach. It has been rated by "Guinness Book of World Records" as having the whitest sands of any beach in the world. That alone should make it worth the trip.

There are several small towns and villages that ring the bay, offering services to visitors. If accommodations and restaurants are your desire, then Huskisson is your best choice. It is the main town on the bay, and is considered the leisure travel center for the region. In Huskisson you can make arrangements for activities ranging from boat or kayak rentals to surfing lessons to a dolphin watching cruise.

It is not hard to see why Jervis Bay is one of Australia's treasures when you consider all it has to offer. From the fantastic scenery, interesting small towns, natural coves and beaches with the whitest of white sand, there is something for everyone in this beautiful region.
