Is enhancing your breasts all about increasing the size of your bustline? Sometimes when we think about cosmetic surgery for the breasts, we always jump to the conclusion that it is all about increasing the size of one's breasts. This is perhaps one of the biggest misconceptions of breast augmentation that is caused by too much mass media hype about celebrities' breast enhancing surgeries. Mass media such as tabloid tv or magazine always published stories about this celebrity or the next having their breast size increased or sometimes they will talk about how some up and coming starlet have somehow increased their bust size without admitting to having cosmetic surgery. This have caused many of us to think that such augmentation surgeries are just about increasing the size of one's cup size.
The truth is not quite simple. There are many women who have opted to have breast augmentation surgeries because they have uneven breasts or they have breasts that have been disfigured due to accident or breast cancer. Breast augmentation surgery can help many women whom have been scarred due to accidents such as automobile accident that have lead to bad scars or uneven size. Women who have suffered from breast cancer have also sought surgery as a relief to help them regain their former self and body. And not to forget, there are women whom naturally have uneven sized breasts and would like to resize and reshape one of the breast to become more proportional.
Thus we can see that it is not always about having an increase in size when one opt for breast augmentation. There are many other reasons that have lead to women requiring such surgeries as well.
