Is It Time to Lose Weight?
The truth is that if you are overweight, you have probably heard it countless times from the people you know the best
. Please keep in mind, that they are just concerned about your well-being. They are only trying to make you aware of what they are seeing; otherwise they would say nothing at all.
Honestly, there is no one that can tell you when the time is right for you to start a weight loss program. It is a decision that has to be made on your own. This article will hopefully shine some light on the subject without getting to personal.
Unfortunately, I must say that usually something drastic must happen to you personally that forces you to realize the impact it has on your life and the people around you.
You have also probably heard of all the severe problems a person can experience by being excessively overweight. They include several health risks. Diabetes, high cholesterol level, high blood pressure, heart diseases, and sleep apnea, just to name a few. The list is almost endless.
At some point down the road, maybe even now while your reading this article, it will hit you. Maybe you feel lazy, dizzy, or drowsy all the time. Maybe you have a hard time just doing day to day activities.
You have to consider asking yourself these questions.
Has this weight problem caused a major hindrance to your lifestyle?
Did your doctor advise you to lose some weight?
Have people started ignoring you or avoiding you?
Are you unable to get promotions in your workplace?
Getting turned down on dates?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above, you may want to start to consider looking into some type of weight loss plan. Maybe you are ready, now.
Put your foot down and exclaim:
"Enough is enough!"
"I am ready and MUST do something about this!"
If this is the case, I applaud you! I put my full confidence in you!
Deciding the time is right to make a big change in your life and shed the extra pounds is the hardest step.
The next thing to do is to take action. Don't wait! Time is precious!
You have the drive and will to succeed. Use it to your advantage!
If you are not ready, it is ok. Like I said I'm just trying to shed a little light on the subject. Just keep in mind the disadvantages of being overweight and what it may lead to in the future.
