I am among those guys who don't believe in expensive engagement rings

. Now, don't get me wrong; there isn't any reason to be cheap about it. However, if you're deep in debt and hardly profitable as it is, don't go spending 10 or 20 grand on expensive engagement rings. If you're Will Smith and it's not a big thing, then of course, go ahead.

However, for the rest of us; getting deeper into debt is not a good way to start a future with your lover. After all, love has nothing to do with costly engagement rings. If the lady tells you it does; you are marrying the wrong lady. She clearly doesn't care for you. If she did, she wouldn't want you to break your budget on some jewelry.

As for purchasing the expensive engagement rings, I am definitely not the pro. Before when I proposed to my wife, I had mere 500 bucks in my wallet to spend. I used it on a white gold ring with a three carrot blue topaz and surrounding diamonds. That is her birth stone. She really loved the idea, and I knew right then that she seriously loved me. It wasn't about money at all. After all, these are the only reason people prefer diamond jewelry in the first place. They are regarded as a valuable stone and people spend oodles of cash for them.

Let me say with all confidence that if they weren't worth a great deal of money, no person would want them. Nobody would care how spectacular or strong they are. It's all regarding the amount of money. For me, the diamond is not the prettiest gemstone by far.

However, they do make for expensive engagement rings. My advice to all you men around is; if you possess a great deal of money to shell out on pricey engagement rings, then so be it; however, if you only have so much, and you'd want to put the bulk of it on a house, then that's a more prudent investment.

You can get any pricey engagement rings of any design or size on the Net these days. Get jacked in and browse for any gemstone or ring type you want. Just keep in mind, if you can't manage to pay for it, then don't buy it. Expensive engagement rings is not equivalent to your love for the lady in any way. Sticking with her through the years is the true test.
