Just remember this, a pound of fat is approximately 3,000 calories, so if you wanted to lose 2lbs per week you would want to calculate how many calories you consume in a week and subtract 6,000 from that number then divide it by 7 days to get your new daily calorie intake.

Drink Water

Water can be a great tool to losing weight. If you drink a lot of soda or carbonated drinks, you can substitute it with water. Water has no calories so you can drink as much as you want throughout the day. Drinking water throughout the day can really help with food cravings as well. Above all else, drinking more water is just an overall healthy thing to do daily.

Don't get Discouraged

Don't get discouraged if you have not met your goals for the day, week, or month. Getting discouraged can lead to stress and stress can lead to weight gain. Just remember that it's ok to bend the rules as long as you are still sticking to them.
