Well my babies are all grown now but looking back I can remember I wanted to do this fast. However fast is not the answer. You need to be able to drop that baby weight safely and over time so as not to deplete your energy level in the process. We all know that night feeding and four hourly feeding throughout the day with a healthy baby is difficult enough let alone if you have another little one or two to care for!
I dont know that reading the latest magazines for the celebrity diets is the way to go either! You tend to gain an unrealistic view of how this is done, and forget the help these people get with nannies and housekeepers and more!
The biggest mistake we as mothers actually make is not to eat! I know I did it for a long time when my children were small, and I notice my sister doing the same thing now!
You must start your day with a healthy breakfast! There is no point in just feeding the children and forgetting to feed yourself! Your body needs fuel straight up in the morning to get your day started.
In fact eating often is quite simply the key to weight loss. Well having said that allow me to correct myself. Eating often but eating the right foods!
One thing I learned along the way is that when Im craving chocolate or sweet treats it is my body's way of telling me I need protein!
It has been said a million times but honestly DRINK LOTS OF WATER. I cannot stress this enough. You are busy all day with a baby and it is too easy to become hydrated.
I am speaking from my own experience on how to drop that baby weight, so try to understand also, that your mind is the most important element in this. Remain "tuned in" and dont allow your mind to tell you "its ok I will eat later".
The problem also with not eating all day is obviously eating a big meal in the evening and expecting your body to be able to digest it. In fact you should be eater a heavier meal at lunch and a lighter meal in the evening, allowing your body time enough to digest your food before resting.
Remember when it comes to how to drop that baby weight, you need to relax and understand that losing weight shouldnt be about punishing yourself, or starving yourself particularly at a time when your body is recovering from the single most traumatic and miraculous event.
Take time to lose your baby weight, get plenty of rest, follow a sensible healthy eating regime and when you have succeeded you can then tell others how to drop that baby weight!About the Author:
