How To Start A Conversation With A Girl
Youve met a girl that you like and its time to strike a conversation with her
. What do you do? How do you go about it so that you can stand the chance of her agreeing to see you again? Its not very hard it may be scary, yes, but if you put your mind to it you can definitely do it.
Most important is to approach her really casually, creating eye contact. Research shows that when people share eye contact, whether they are of the same or opposite sex a bond, albeit a tiny one, is already forming. Your job is to get that bond going so that you can take the next step. Once you catch her eye and walk up to her, its now time to say something.
It all depends on what you were prepared to say to her. Maybe its just an introduction, maybe you want to playfully tease her or maybe you want to ask her something. Keep the eye contact going, but not so much that you scare her. After your introductory line, you can go ahead and start flirting.
Flirting is open to many interpretations make sure that yours does not come off as cheap or pretentious. A good thing to do is give her a single compliment about something that is not so obvious about her. You can mention that something she is wearing, like a chain or earrings, caught your eye. Or you can tell her about her smile. Make sure to sound sincere, but not too serious.
Touching another person is an indication to them that all your attention is focused on them. You should understand though that there are boundaries. You can touch her arm or the ends of her hair, but dont touch her in a way that makes her feel uncomfortable. As you touch her, keep the conversation going, maybe asking her how she manages to keep such great hair, or where she could have bought such a beautiful pendant.
All these things that you are doing should come off as fun. Sometimes you may find that the girl whose caught your attention is more the straightforward type. Then go ahead, be straightforward. Just introduce yourself and tell her that you have been waiting to meet her.
If you show a girl or a woman that you have just met that you are having great fun talking to her, you will hold her attention long enough to establish more than a casual one-time conversation. She knows that you are having fun if you are listening to what she is saying and asking questions, smiling, nodding, laughing and looking at her all the time.
Women are different and you may find that this approach may have to vary from woman to woman when it comes to the details. Some women are intense, for example, and they may not say anything that will make you laugh. So long as you are interested in her, keep the conversation going.
Failing with one woman does not mean that you have failed completely. It only means that you re-emphasize on the fun and give it another go with another woman, and if youre brave enough the same one.
