When preparing for a weight loss program, there are certain things that you must ensure that they are in place before you commence your weight loss program if you are bound to succeed.
One of the things you must ensure that it is place as you embark on your program is your emotional well being. It would make a mess of the whole process if you go into weigh loss program when you have other problems eg. emotional problem, weighing down. If you are having a serious problem with your spouse for instance and it is serious enough to weigh you down emotionally, then it must be fairer for you to tackle the problem first if that would be possible so that your program would sail smoothly.
a) Resolve any emotional problems first
People who are emotionally stressed tend to eat and drink a lot because of the stress. There are certain times they would eat and drink just as an impulsive response to stress and it would be stupid to be struggling to loose weight and at the same time you are over-eating or drinking.
b) Resolve any bad eating habit
Again for people who have an eating habit that is bad. Good thing for you to do first is to resolve your bad eating habit or what do you think that you can achieve in terms of weight loss if you have eating problem.
c) Resolve within you to embrace positive life change
Another question you have to ask yourself is whether you are ready to make a positive life style change. If you are a glutton, are you now ready to cut down the amount of food you eat daily. Remember that there would surely be hurdles to scale. Because some people would prefer to be put in prison than not allowing them to eat to their fill. They can get violent when they are hungry. Are you ready for a lifestyle change.
d) Resolve to shed that excess weight.
Finally you need to check it, whether you have resolved within you to shed that excess weight. Have you been moved up to the point of action to embark on a weight loss program.
