1 Actually, taking action is sometimes mentioned. But then the course or ebook or seminar (it goes on and on) are not really about you taking action. They're about you reading, listening and watching. Take this as a guide: if you're not doing something to build your business at any one moment, ask yourself, why not? Only such actions will develop your business. Continuing to collect resources you may never need or look at again are simply passing the time.

2 It's a marathon, rather than sprint. People can make money online quickly but not that quickly. I'm talking about a continuous living income. So, build for the long stretch. Even if someone has a fantastic mentor, it still takes a certain amount of time to get things done and driving sales. Also, what happens after the mentor? Unless, of course, you continue to pay them. Create a business, then, and not a one-off money site.

3 Build a big list. Maybe it's best to ensure you get visitors' emails every time before they get sent to your sales page. Once they've gone from there they probably won't return. On your list, you can keep giving help and making offers. It could be the majority on your list never buy a thing from you. However, some of them might be passing on information to others about your great offers, so it's worth keeping them. You should know who your buyers are anyway.

4 Sort out your attitude. Consider yourself online and what perception people might have of you as visitors, subscribers and customers. If it's negative, whingeing, complaining, over-aggressive and so on, then you need to look to changing your image to someone who is positive, optimistic and as someone always willing to help your readers and customers.
