How To Find The Perfect Wedding Venue

Everyone knows that planning a wedding can be a very stressful process

. There is so much to think about that even if they have plenty of help from friends and family members, the bride and groom will still be snowed under with organising what is likely to be the biggest day of their lives.

As well as practicalities like transport, food, drink and the honeymoon, they will also need to consider the brides dress, the grooms suit, clothing for the rest of the wedding party, invitations, place mats, wedding favours, flowers and decorations. Plus, the happy couple needs to decide on perhaps the most important thing of all the wedding venue.

There are so many different locations to choose from that most people will be spoilt for choice. However, there are some things they will need to consider to ensure they get somewhere that best suits their needs and tastes.

To begin, couple should consider how many people they want to invite to their wedding. If they want a small, intimate affair it is no good booking a huge castle as this will be a waste of money. Similarly, if they want to invite 100 people they will need to find somewhere that can accommodate everyone, as well as provide catering services for such a large group.

Traditional people who are quite old-fashioned at heart might like a classic church wedding, while others could go for an old manor house in the countryside. Set among sprawling farmland and impeccable gardens, these provide the ideal backdrop for some beautiful photographs at the end of the ceremony.

Of course, this is not for everyone and some couples might like something with a modern twist. A location set in an urban area could be a good idea, such as a town hall. These buildings are often very old and feature some impressive architecture, as well as stunning interiors that would make the ideal backdrop to a ceremony.

Hotels are also a great place to hold a wedding ceremony or even just the reception, as they have everything the couple needs in one place. As well as a room for the event, the majority of hotels will be able to offer top-class catering services, whether people want a formal sit-down three-course meal, or a more casual buffet. What is more, there will be rooms for the guests to stay in after the event, meaning they will not have to travel far.
