Like I said, you don't want to give off that vibe to a woman, so you need to find a way to get rid of that feeling. Hanging out with friends and having an active social life is one of the best things that you can do to get over feeling like you need to have someone. And, by actively hanging out with single women, you can give yourself some positive experiences that you can draw on to help build your confidence.
2) Don't just look for women to approach you, you need to do the approaching.
I find that a lot of men who complain about not meeting women don't really make any approaches. It's almost as if they expect that a woman is supposed to approach them, and that's just not the way that it pans out most of the time. Most of the time, it is the guy who has to make that first move and that's what you need to do if you are looking to have more success meeting women.
3) You need to be able to make a woman feel like you are going to be the guy who will show her a good time.
You can't expect a woman to want to date you if she thinks that being around you is going to be boring. Boring is not a good thing if you are trying to attract women, so you have to learn to be engaging enough and fun enough that she automatically gets the impression that you are going to be the kind of guy she can have a fun time with.
