, most guys would like to be able to do more than just get a conversation started. They want to be able to get a phone number, line up a date, maybe even get her back to their place. Yet, most guys never get past the phase of just starting a conversation. And a lot of men find it hard in just making the approach. Is there a much more simple way that you can go about approaching a woman and be able to get more than just a conversation started?

Here are a few tips on how to approach a woman and get more than just a conversation going:

1. Know what it is that you want to happen before you make the approach.

Any time you play a sport to win, you need to have a game plan, right? Well, it's not much different when you are approaching a woman you find appealing in some way. You need to know what it is that you are doing, and where you want things to lead. If you want to do more than just talk to her, then you have to have this in mind before you even take the first step and walk up to her.

2. Don't rely on just small talk and expect it to lead somewhere.

Small talk is meant to build into something more and when you just linger in that area where all you are doing is making typical chit chat with a woman, then you really are not doing much to get things to lead somewhere. You have to be able to go beyond just the small talk and the friendly banter if you want to be able to get a date or a phone number with a woman.

3. You have to know how to escalate things in the right order.

Just like many things in life, timing is a big key to getting the conversation to lead somewhere with a woman. To do this, you have to be able to escalate the interaction, but it has to be done in the right order. You cannot expect to just introduce yourself and then ask for a date and have her say yes to you, right? So, your focus needs to be on learning how to escalate the interaction to the point where you can make your move and she will want to say yes to you.
