You may love a particular set that you see in the shop but if it completely clashes with the rest of your room then it is going to look ridiculous. It is best to either choose neutral colours that will fit in with pretty much any colour scheme or to choose something that is similar to the rest of your bedrooms colours.
Thread Count.
As the name suggests, the thread count is the number of threads per square inch of your duvet. The higher the thread count, the softer and more comfortable your covers will be. However, sheets and covers with a higher thread count will generally be more expensive than those with a lower count. Also, to get a higher thread count, thinner threads are sometimes used in production. This can mean that these covers will not always last as long as those with a lower count.
Seen as though you will spend a large portion of your time in your bed, it is somewhere that you should try to make as comfy as possible.
