Bulova then became really focused on new advertising technologies between 1926 and 1928. The very first radio commercial that was broadcast throughout the nation was by the Bulova Company. Also in 1968, the Caravelle became the biggest selling jeweled movements watch in the United States.
During 1987, the United States Olympic Team announced that Bulova was now their official supplier of men's wrist watches. The technology was used in Seoul for the summer games and Calgary for the winter games. From then until 1995, Bulova continued their business to South American, where a distribution agreement was signed. A little later, the Far East and Europe signed licenses with Bulova.
During 2000, Bulova and Mayor Rudolph Giuliani celebrated their 125th anniversary. The following year, the company acquired the Wittnauer trademark as well as the Harley-Davidson watch licenses. During a survey in 2001, women were asked which brand they thought had luxurious accessories and apparel; Bulova was in the fourteenth spot.
By 2002, assets of Heirloom were claimed by Bulova. Also in this year, Canada, Mexico and the United States were purchasing grandfather clocks. In Europe, Bulova opened their headquarters in Fribourg, Switzerland. With the opening, Bulova began producing the European Collection by Bulova. The collection later released on January 1, 2003.
