For starters, it makes a very bold claim and states that you can lose 9 pounds in only 11 days. And while it doesn't say that other weight loss programs, like Weight Whatcher and Jenny Craig doesn't work, it does claim that this diet will get you faster results and works just as well in the long run.
So what does Fat Loss 4 Idiots want you to do? Well, it comes as no surprise that it doesn't want you to cut down on your macro nutrients(carbs, fat and calories). It actually claims that it will make no difference at all what you eat as your metabolism will only shift to burn less calories if you start to cut down on any given macro nutrient..
Another thing about this diet is that it claims that no exercise is needed at all. In fact, it states that people don't gain weight because they don't exercise, but they gain weight because they don't the right foods at the right times.
The idea behind Fat Loss 4 Idiots is simple: After every meal your body releases fat burning and fat storing hormones, if you can decrease the level of fat storing hormones after every meal, you will lose weight rapidly.
This is apparently the entire basis behind this program. And from there you are told you will lose weight in two steps. Step 1 - You will need to increase the amount of meals you eat every day to more than three. Step 2 - You will need to ensure that the contents and timing of these meals are crafted around their calorie shifting method which is primarily deisgned to "trick" your body into burning more fat.
Now, at a first glance, the story sounds plausible. However, if you try to learn more about the product creator, things begin to look fishy. No matter where you look, you will not be able to find out who created the diet and whether or not that person has any credentials or even a weight loss story of his own.
Additionally, the company behind Fat Loss 4 Idiots has received a low rating from the Better Business Bureau as a result of poor customer service. The company also has many claims on its website that are seemingly untrue, or unverifiable. For instance, they claim that their own careful testing lead resulted in this "calorie shifting" method; however, the method existed prior to the product and it is not clear that the company has any means to perform such tests.
Bottom line, it's very hard to sell the pitch of this product. There are many good and true claims made by the program, but there are also many questions that go unanswered about the product itself. But for anyone who wants to try a new method for losing weight, that seems to work for some people; this might be a good program to try.
