Pete went to work on a casual Saturday wearing a pair of bright yellow jeans and a hot pink shirt, mixed with a pair of navy blue cowboy boots, a gold belt and an orange tee-shirt underneath. Women seemed to stare at him constantly as well as his male colleagues. Had he drawn the kind of attention he had hoped, definitely no. Some would say he had a quirky sense of style while others would just say he was a fashion victim. The introduction of colour seems to have caused lot o confusion amongst the men. Mixing bright colours might be looking stunning on a woman but for men it can make a wrong impression.
Once a guy chooses a bright coloured shirt, automatically it means that he should pick a pair of dark jeans, most preferably a navy blue or a black jean. Mixing a bright and another bright can only spell disaster. However if the pants are the bright choice likewise the top must tone down its loudness. Instead of the Bright yellow pants he had worn throwing in a pair of dark denims would have been a great combination.
Dressing for men has changed, while Pete suffers from the colour syndrome, others suffer from the 'gangster dress code' which is simple wearing extra large clothes and wearing heavy gold or silver chains around your neck. Mainly introduced by hip-hop artists this dress code has taken the world by storm. Individualism has introduced a particular signature for every individual. A Goth sense of dressing is the least common in men; you can rarely find a man wearing black from head to toe, a little bit of colour is necessary. Other men prefer to keep their style the 'biker way', which is basically wearing leather from head to toe. Leather is hot, literally and mixing that with a pair of leather boots. If opting for leather pants, rather you choose to wear them with something lighter on top. Then we have the skinny jeans for the guys, these look very stylish on youngsters but can be an odd sight if worn by an older man, so as a mature and older man, it is best to stick to the normal jean, but leave your grandfather's jean alone, they probably make you look like him.
Hairstyles
The way a man keeps and grooms his hair says more than he thinks, now men are not conformed wigs or the straight back jelled hair style that were worn in the times past. A bold head seems to be boring but is the easiest to maintain, long back men thought being bold meant hair loss but this hairstyle is great for every occasion even the black-tie event or the office. Neatly brushed hair is a safer option too but this hairstyle has been fading constantly. Long gone are the days when the dread locks were for Bob Marley and a few other individuals. The locks have made a comeback and are a fashionable way of wearing hair for men even for women. The tricky thing is how you wear them to the office or to the formal event were you can't leave them hanging down your back. Salons can easily style them or tie them neatly for a finished classic look with a touch of style. Youngsters are into the spiky hairstyles which look good on you too on a weekend but make you look ridiculous for the job interview on Monday.
Belts
Belts have seen their own revolution created; there are all sorts of belt styles. You can find skull belts, metal belts, and leather belts, belts with personalised buckle designs or even blinged belts which are popular with the youngsters of today. While they all seem so modern, the classic for a man is the black leather belt with a small, silver buckle. This belt can be worn with any kind of pants providing you with a wide range of options on how to wear your clothes.
