In the cool, clear freshwater of Lake Superior you can admire the pink and orange sky of sunset surrounded by the pines and hardwoods. For optimal stargazing away from the concrete and smog of the city, a great place to camp is Mount Wrightson Wilderness in Arizona. Known as Old Baldy to the locals, you can see the sky in a brand knew way from this bare peak. The Hawaiian islands are another hotspot to find plenty of exciting opportunities for excursions.
