What are your favorite things to do. I like to be active and play sports like basketball and baseball. Do you think baseball is more fun if you're overweight or if you're at your optimal weight. I'm thinking optimal weight. It's really a rhetorical question unless you're talking about hot dog eating contests or something like that.
Enjoying weight loss is something you must experience for yourself. Children have unlimited energy. They could play for quite a long time before running out of steam. Have you ever played baseball? or basketball? or Football? Did you play when you were a kid? Have you played recently?
I wasn't the greatest athlete as a kid, but I know I loved to play every sport there was, no matter how good I was. I remember one time I was playing a game against Regal & Padden, back then the teams were sponsored by local companies. Regal & Padden was a law firm in my town. It was my turn to step up to the plate and as if in a movie, my team was losing and I needed a hit to tie up the score. The pitcher pitched 2 pitches and I took two strikes swinging, so the count was 0-2 and I was in a hole. My strength in batting was more in taking pitches and trying to get walks. This time seemed different though so I was swinging for a home run. The pitcher was ready and wound up. I wiggled my bat a little and prepared for the pitch. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. He threw one right down the middle of the plate. I swung as hard as I could and knocked it out of the park. What a great feeling running around the bases.
I bring up this experience for 2 reasons. The first reason this experience is so memorable is because I always had so much fun when I was playing baseball and other sports. I was extremely active back then. The second reason I mention this experience because I'm no longer that kid that was so active, I'm the person that has a job every weekday to go to and sits at a desk. I've gained a lot of weight since I was a kid.
I know that I would be enjoying weight loss in many ways when I take it off. Why because it is so hard to be active with extra weight on. Enjoying weight loss is a great motivator for those that are overweight. Since I'm no longer a kid and now have kids of my own it means that I would be able have much more fun playing with my kids. I wouldn't be huffing and puffing trying to chase them around the yard. Enjoying weight loss means that you can be a little more competitive if you want to participate in many activities. Hiking, biking, swimming would be much less of a challenge.
Enjoying weight loss will be very fulfilling for you. This is why it is so important. You will also be enjoying weight loss every time you step on the scale and don't see those extra pounds. Imagine visiting your doctor's office. One thing I always hated when I've gone to the doctor's office in the past was when they call you back and have you get on the scale. You think they're saying to themselves, wow he's gained 2 more pounds since the last time. Enjoying weight loss will help you to enjoy stepping on a scale without the fear of what it will read. Enjoying weight loss will hold many benefits for you. You just need to step up and take action. So, I've mentioned some above, but here are 8 reasons you will be enjoying weight loss.
