The Beach: By far the worst place to lose a ring, the beach means that your precious jewelry is either in the sand or in the water. Anywhere With Snow: Loosing a ring in light snow makes it very difficult to find. Waiting for spring can be an option, but dont count on the ring being there when the snow melts. Try blasting the area with hot water. Use a hose or an intense squirt gun to spray boiling water over the snow to melt it.
