Bristol Bay is located around the easternmost arm of the Alaskan Peninsula
. There are quite a few rivers that flow into this bay, including the Kvichak, Meshik, Nushagak, Naknek, and Togiak.
This area is home to some of the highest tides in the world. Some areas have experienced extreme tides of over thirty feet, which makes this area the eighth highest to be found in the world.
