Dating Advice For Men - Are You Focusing On The Wrong Things
I try not to be dogmatic when I am giving out my opinions and advice on dating
, so if it comes across that way, I apologize ahead of time. I see quite a bit of attention gets placed on tactics and techniques that guys want to learn so they can attract women easily and while I get the reason for that, sometimes I think that it causes men to place their focus on some of the wrong things. When you get too focused on trying to figure out what techniques seem to work the best, for instance, a lot of the time you will miss out on the bigger picture. That is, to become a more attractive option when a woman meets you, so that she wants to go out on a date with you.
When you can get that right, then it just becomes a matter of figuring out some of the details. It's a lot easier to figure those details out when you are already in a position where she wants to date you.
So, what are some of the things that I feel you should be focusing on a little more than tactics and techniques?
1) Your social skills.
Don't take offense to this, I don't mean it that way. If you don't have the kind of social skills that gives you an immediate appeal when a woman meets you, you are already going to be fighting an uphill battle to try and make her like you. On the other hand, when you DO have the kind of social skills that women are attracted to right away, there is no battle, there is no uphill climb.
2) Your points of interest.
By this I mean, what is it about You that makes your more interesting than the next guy that comes around? What is it about you that will make her want to spend time with you and not some other guy? Having interesting things to talk about, interesting things that you do in your free time, these are all things that are going to make you have something unique to offer to a woman and give her a reason to choose you over someone else.
3) Your self confidence.
Techniques and tactics can come and go. Self confidence when it is strong is here to stay. It's one of those truly alpha male qualities that will always make you come across as being a very appealing guy, even if you aren't the richest guy in the room or you don't have the chiseled physique. It's also going to help you keep moving on even when you get the occasional rejection from a woman.
4) Your ability to lead a woman.
This is another one of those truly alpha male qualities that never seems to go out of style. What woman wants to be with a guy who needs her to make the decisions for him? That's kind of like asking her to take on a role that is not at all what she wants to have to take on. You need to nurture any leadership skills that you have and show a woman that you can be a genuine leader.
