Bad carbs are foods that have been refined or processed. These are foods that are not in their natural form. Think white bread, candy and pastries. These bad carbs are where you really need to curb your carb intake. The problem is these bad carbs are very appealing to us. They are very tasty and packaged for our convenience. They also contribute to diabetes and heart disease, and that is on top of obesity.

There are many opinions on carbs and weight loss in general.
