Want to have your wedding day flow easy and problem free, but don't have a wedding planner to organize everything. Don't worry, all you have to do is create your very own wedding day itinerary. Using an itinerary is an easyway toalleviate stress and anxiety on the actual day of the wedding. If you sit down before hand and map everything out as you want it to go, things will run more smoothly on the big day. Even if things go off track on that day, your itinerary can help pull things back together quickly.
The first thing you need to do is to create a template. Just grab a piece of paper or open a word document programand start writing or typingit out. The first thing you need to have is the time for the wedding ceremony, you can then use these basics steps to fill in the rest.
1. Your wedding day timeline will be based on what time you plan to wake up in the morning and what time the ceremony is scheduled to take place. In between both of those events you have to figure out have many hour or half-hour blocks of time there will be.
2. Now that you have figured out how many times slots there will be, make a table for the wedding day with as many boxes as there are time slots. Give each a label of either the hour or half-hour. The first box should say the time you plan on waking up and the last should be the start of the ceremony.
3. Leave yourself plenty of time for appointments. Put detailed notes on the timeline as needed for important things that have to be done during that day as well. Make revisions as necessary and double check times with your vendors so everyone is on the same itinerary as you. It's also a good idea to make copies or print the itineraryto give to your bridal party so they also know the game plan for the actual wedding day.
