Characteristics Of Moldavian Girls
Many foreign male newcomers to Moldova expect the local girls to flock to them because
of their money and passport, however, this is now a major misconception as these girls themselves can gain a Western European passport (via Romania) and the local guys also now have a lot more cash.
Looking back to the recent history of the country, Moldavian men have made a lot of money from selling properties which they picked up for pittance during communist times in the forthcoming boom at exorbitant prices, and renting their new properties to foreigners. Also, they venture abroad on work-travel programs, returning with a lot of money. Concerning the local, Moldavian girls, many of them work abroad in Italy, Dubai, etc, and bring back a lot of cash. In this way, they place a lot more value on themselves and need less support from partners than previously experienced.
Specific characteristics of Moldavian girls...
There are two broad types of Moldavian girls:
1. Free-riders, who try to get you to spend money on drinks, clothes etc.
2. Relationship girls, who are seeking more of a romantic, committed relationship.
The free-riders want you to take them and their friends out partying, drinking expensive drinks, eating out at expensive restaurants. The problem is they pretend to like you, want to be your girlfriend and promise you more in the future, but generally disappear as soon as you try to become closer to them.
The relationship girls on the other hand are looking for more emotional, long-term commitment. They want to be wooed and swept off their feet, rather than have you spend money on them. They come from a traditional family background, most often living in the countryside, and are more religiously focused as well.
Keep in mind that Moldova is a small country and the local girls are conscious about their reputation in public. They want to look conservative to others around them. They are also more traditional in how they live their lives. The main example of this, is that when entering a relationship, the foremost thing in their mind is marriage and kids. This attitude is very similar to that displayed in the other Balkan countries nearby such as Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria. Deeply seeded family structure and religious values are heavily influencing the outlook towards relationships of girls in this region.
The language level of local, Moldavian girls may also be limited, in terms of how much English they speak.
