After you have signed your contract, you would want to know when construction will begin. And you want some assurance that everything will happen on time and according to plan. This is the Urbanedge way of building a home.
In building a house, the first guarantee you receive is an agreed site-start month. As long as the paperwork is settled on your
house plans and your finances are in order, construction will commence on the agreed month, giving you certainty on when to start planning for your move.
The second guarantee is a 22 week construction period. A monitored construction period minimizes provisional interest cost, that is, interest on your bank loan accrued throughout construction. If there is a delayed completion, Urbanedge compensates you $260 a week, as stipulated in our house and land contract.
The third guarantee is an after settlement care program, the rival of any in the home builders industry. During the first week following settlement you will be contacted by your customer service administrator to ensure you settled in well. After the first week, you will then be visited by our maintenance manager to address any questions, ensure everything is in working order, and to also take you through the proper use of all appliances. Upon three months from settlement (90 days), the maintenance manager will conduct a thorough inspection and rectify any maintenance issues that have arisen.
