Body Contouring With Bodytite
Body contouring with BodyTite has generated a lot of interest among plastic surgeons
. The new patent pending device BodyTite has been introduced by an Israel based company INVASIX. People who have always wanted to shed fat and attain the perfect body contour could benefit immensely from this device.
BodyTite, as the name implies, tightens and firms the skin to achieve a slender body shape after excess fat has been extracted. This radiofrequency aided liposuction (RFAL) device is believed to be the most effective, multipurpose device to be made available in the market. The RF technology has been ingeniously used to dissolve fat cells and simultaneously coagulate blood vessels to reduce blood loss/bruises and tighten the skin.
The effectiveness of body contouring procedure depends upon the extent to which the skin achieves its stiffness. Once the fat is melted and sucked out, RF energy acts upon the subdermal and subcutaneous layer to effectively tighten the skin. Surgeons who have made use of the device claim that though other competing devices claim to achieve the same, none of them come close to match the performance of BodyTite.
The new liposuction procedure is completely safe and highly effective. Its energy spreads uniformly in the intended area and leaves the surrounding tissues unaffected, thereby preventing trauma. Being minimally invasive, the procedure is painless and can effectively remove surplus fat from abdominal areas such as face, hips, buttocks, and knees. Signs of surgical intervention are hardly evident and the patient experiences little or no discomfort.
The device is equipped with a closed loop safety system which monitors the flow of energy and shuts down in case of overheating of the electrodes. Surgeons can also monitor the patients skin temperature and increase or decrease the impedance level for optimal body sculpting.
Patients who have undergone body contouring with BodyTite are delighted by its results and have appreciated its diverse functionality. The CE and ISO have given their clearance and the FDA is yet to do the same, based on the feedback of the IRB study which is currently ongoing in New York. ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization whereas CE is the abbreviation of French phrase Conformit Europenne, which is a mandatory mark placed on products to signify conformance with European Union regulations.
