It astounds me the amount of people trying to lose weight using one product right after another
. Do they think their pounds are just going to disappear in a week by magic? There are many wonderful all natural safe and effective weight loss programs on the market today but most dieters do not stick to the plan. They will try one weight loss aid this week and promptly switch to another the following week. All the while complaining how they just tried another diet that didn't work. This in itself is partly the manufacturers fault since many of them package their product in a seven or fourteen day trial.
The manufacturers should stop the trial packs. This leads consumers to believe their perfect body will come extraordinarily quick. The body itself is not designed to adapt to different substances so quickly. It will take a few weeks for the body to overcome the change you have made to your system and figure out what direction it should be heading. In all fairness, a consumer should at least give the program thirty days before reassessing their situation.
Questions which should be asked after the thirty days include "How do I feel?", "How many pounds have I lost?", "Did I feel any negative side affects?", "Is this a diet plan that was easy to stick to?" and "Do I feel good about myself following this program or using this diet aid?" These are just a few issues which should be addressed after a month using a particular plan or aid. If there was one weight loss program or aid that worked for everyone there would not be so many choices. Weight loss has clearly run rampant in the United States and even the medical field has their share of prescription drugs and surgeries to combat this epidemic problem.
I hope consumers wake up to the fact there is no magic pill to sustain the perfect weight. Even though there are wonderful products on the market, they are still only as good as the consumer themselves. I have seen many people only give the diet half a chance or only follow the program when they feel like it. Who is to blame when the product doesn't work? Maybe it is the consumer itself and not the product. Of course, some products will work better than others for certain body types. Consumers have to take the responsibility with their weight loss. If they want to lose weight with the help of a weight loss aid or program, then they also must shoulder the responsibility for its effectiveness.
