Traffic generation should be a major focus of your MLM Training. While it is true that sales make the money, it is traffic that generates the leads for sales. A top earner in my MLM company told me, "Focus on traffic generation and the rest will follow". Since capital is in short supply right now, what are the best free or low cost methods for traffic generation? Here are 4 great strategies.
Article marketing is the best strategy to get free traffic, because it brands you as a leader. Article marketing does take time to show results. For this method work at its most efficient you want your article in several websites. Pick one place for your original article to reside. Your MLM company site would be best. If you don't have a website that will allow that, then use your blog to post it. The next step is to spin the article with article spin software. There are a couple of different types out there. This software will permit you to rewrite every line of your article and then upload the article to different article directory webpages. Every time the Software uploads the article to a different article site it spins or changes the sentences in the article. This creates a new version of your article. In each article is a link (in the author's resource box) to the original article to your website or blog. This is a backlink. Google ranks how a popular an article is by the number of backlinks it has connect to it. More links equal more popular which translates to importance. As people search the Internet your article will show up on the 1st page of the search results.
Another method of traffic generation is through the of videos. On YouTube alone there are 1 Billion videos viewed each day. That is too much traffic to ignore. All you need is a camera and you are in business making videos. You can use video marketing to link to your articles to create more backlinks. I use a service called Traffic Geyser that will upload my videos to over 80 different sites on the Internet. All of the videos have a link back to an article on your site. A 30 to 60 second announcements about your latest article is all it takes. Keyword research is the heart of any content you create for the Internet.
The 3rd method of generating traffic is through Social Media. Social media websites give you the option to make friends on these services. You can display leadership by announcing and linking your articles and video on your page. You can make fan pages that you invite others. You must build a relatonship with people in this community for this method to work. If you approach this method with the idea of what you can get from it you will lose. You are building relationships and you need to give first. Give good content and helpful advice so people will see you as someone who can help them reach their goals.
The last method to generate traffic is forum marketing. Like the method prior you need to demonstrate that you know what you are doing. As you contribute more to the community your traffic will grow. Your connection is through your signature line that you add at the end of each answer. So pick a forum that is close to your MLM opportunity and start answering questions. the same ones as you were starting out.
Social Media and Forums. These will not generate a lot of traffic over night but if you stick with it traffic will follow. The best method is using all of the methods together and you will see your traffic dramatically increase and that will increase your leads.
