3 Myths About Approaching Women That Will Keep You Single
There are so many prevailing myths about dating and what guys are supposed to do
, that it really doesn't surprise me that most guys don't really have a clue about what the right thing to do is and what the wrong thing to do is. If you are one of those guys who falls for the many myths that are related to approaching a woman, then you know what? You are probably going to remain single.
What are three of those myths that you need to discard? Here they are:
1) Don't believe that you should never approach a woman when she is out with her friends.
This is one that I really don't get. I don't get why guys think this is true. How often have you gone out to a club or a bar and saw a really good looking woman by herself? Probably not too often, right? And if you believe that you can't approach a woman in that situation, then you are going to remain single or end up with a woman who is probably not the type that you really want to be with because you are going to miss out on plenty of chances to get to know women because they are usually out with other people.
2) Don't believe that you need to have a perfect pick up line to approach a woman.
This is another reason why so many guys don't make many approaches. They think that in order for them to be successful, that they have to possess the perfect pick up line. And since they don't have one, they think that they are going to fail miserably if they do walk up to a woman. That's just not the way that it has to be. You really don't have to have an outstanding line to open a conversation with a woman, you just have to get the conversation started. Don't let the fact that you don't know a perfect opener keep you from approaching women, because most of the time, you really don't need anything more than "hey, what's up?"
3) Don't believe that you have to buy a woman something in exchange for her time.
What do I mean by this? I mean you don't have to do the classic buy a girl a drink in exchange for getting the chance to talk to her thing that most guys do when they go out. You don't have to do that and most of the time you shouldn't. Sure, the woman might like the fact that she doesn't have to pay for drinks, but that is not really going to do much of anything to make her attracted to you. And that is the whole point, isn't it? To make a woman feel attracted to you and if you want that to happen, you don't need to buy her a drink you just have to make yourself seem more attractive than other men she is going to come across.
