Where do you buy a Kindle, and can you buy Kindle in stores? The Kindle e-book reader has become one of the most popular e-book readers available, but where is the best place to buy one? We will discuss the best places where you can find a Kindle and how much you will be looking to spend.

The Amazon Kindle is quickly becoming the most popular of the e-book readers. It has been Amazons best-selling product for the past two years and is gaining reputation as being the best e-reader that's currently available on the market, and it's easy to see why.

The Kindle was one of the first e-readers that utilized E-Ink for its display. This allows for words and images on the screen resemble and appear book/paper-like. This also means the screen is a no-glare display, so reading in the sun or high reflected areas is no problem.

With the Kindle you can store up to 3,500 books and also listen to your books in auto format with the text-to-speech feature. Additionally, the it has a new web-based browser that allows you to surf the web as well as download e-books and many other types of text formats right on the device.

So where do you buy a Kindle, and can you buy it in stores?

There are really only a few places where you can find Kindles.

In June of 2010 Target became the first physical retailer to put Kindles on its self. There are rumors that some other physical retailers might release Kindles in the future, but it wont likely be for a couple of years.

There are a couple of places online that sell them in pawned or used formats such as eBay or Craigslist.

However, most people who shop online for electronics don't buy from these sites. Typically products on sites like these are being sold by regular people trying to get rid of their used device and not by legitimate and trustworthy online retailers / companies.

The best place, obviously would be Amazon.com. Since Amazon makes the Kindle it assures you your receiving a quality service and product. Additionally, Amazon offers many different types of new, used, and refurbished Kindles with good solid reviews which you wont find at Target or any other sites.
