If you want red color, apply extracts of Hibiscus sabdariffa, which is a species of the Hibiscus family of herbs. However, the concentration of red color depends on the ph of the dyeing solution. For a yellow or a deep orange tinge, apply turmeric to your hair. The curcumin pigment present in the herb causes the yellow color. A healthy glow to your hair can be made through natural hair colors.

Following are some fast and simple hair coloring tips that will aid you to color your hair naturally.

Hair dye or color means coloring the hair shaft at the part of the hair projecting above the skin and the color is absorbed by the inner layer of the hair shaft, the cortex. If you use natural hair color such as Henna, it is actually absorbed by the cortex. Hence, it stays for a longer time when compared to temporary hair dyes. The hair may become dry after the application of Henna. By applying moisturizing conditioners and oil, it can be easily remedied.

As temporary dyes such as gels and mousses have high molecular weight, they are not absorbed by the hair shaft. A layer of color is created on the outer surface cuticle of the hair and is removed when the hair is washed. Only one hair wash is required to remove all the color. Chemical treatments such as perms and bleaches make the hair porous and allow the temporary dyes to go through within the shaft to the cortex. This can make the hair color last longer to some extent. Due to this process, hair may become more vulnerable to physical damage.
