You have settled on a date for the big day, and now you have to plan everything. You are probably wondering where on earth you should start at this stage and the best answer is with a notepad and pen.

It is virtually impossible to plan a wedding unless you have some kind of list to constantly refer to. So jot down everything you can think of for starters cars, wedding dress, clothing, wedding favours, a photographer and so on. Then have a friend or family member look at the list to make sure you havent missed off anything obvious.

One of the best ways to plan your wedding is to enlist the help of a select few people you know you can rely on. Make sure everyone knows what they should be organising though this method can go wrong if you choose people who have their own ideas for how your wedding should progress.

The location is one of the most important things of all. Will you get married in a church or a registry office for example? Whereabouts would you like the ceremony to take place? Do you want it to be local or is there somewhere else that is special to you both that you would like to go to?

Of course even though you are thinking about the wedding there is the honeymoon to consider as well. This is important because people often jet off on holiday the day after the wedding, so you will need to think about dates. You also dont want to leave the booking until the last minute in case you cannot get the honeymoon you want.

In terms of the wedding itself, think in numbers very early on if you can. A lot of other things will depend on having a good idea of how many people will be attending. For example, how many wedding favours will you need to buy? Which venue will be big enough to accommodate the whole wedding party? How many people will you need to cater for in terms of food and drink?

As you can see, once you have agreed on the figures you can move on and start planning the rest of your wedding. Be sure to ask around for advice on the best people and companies to use too. Someone you know may be able to recommend a good florist or photographer for example.

So whether you like the idea of weddings near Windsor or somewhere else entirely, you can be assured that early planning is the best option at all times. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without adding a closer deadline into the mix as well. The sooner you get started, the sooner you can sit back and relax, knowing that everything is arranged and ready for you to enjoy your big day.About the Author:
