Illicit drugs can be in the form of cocaine, marijuana and other illegal drugs. Taking these during pregnancy may increase the risk of miscarriage. It could also affect the development of the fetus that can cause some complications and serious problems to the newborns.
Smoking Cigarettes can result to premature labor to pregnant mothers. Cigarette smoking could be one of the contributing factors why there is an increasing problem like placenta abruptio, placenta previa and premature rupture of the membrane.
Problems occur during pregnancy can be unpredictable; that is why full responsibility and proper care should considered. Proper knowledge is the key to have a healthy pregnancy and have a healthy baby.
