subject: How To Choose A Wedding Hand Bouquet [print this page]

Getting married is a wonderful thing, but there are so many things that you have to think about that planning a wedding can quickly become overwhelming. If you hire a wedding planner you can relieve a lot of that stress, but if you cannot afford one then you are in a situation where you have to think of everything for yourself. Fortunately, when it comes to thing like the hand bouquet for yourself and the bouquets for your bridesmaids, you can simply order them from the florist, you do not have to make them for yourself.

However, you might find that there is some additional stress when it comes time to choosing your hand bouquet for yourself and for your bridesmaids. This is because there are simply so many different types to choose from. You may even have an idea of what you want in your mind, but once presented with the actual task of choosing the hand bouquets, you may find that there are a lot more wonderful choices than you ever thought possible. With a lot of choices comes a lot of stress and it is important that you minimize that stress as much as possible.

The first thing that you should consider is the color of the dresses that your bridesmaids are wearing. You don't want the hand bouquet color to clash with their dresses. Even the most beautiful of flowers can be made to look bad if they are put together with the wrong fabric. If your bridesmaids' dresses are orange and you had your heart set on red roses, consider carrying the roses for yourself and choosing a different color, such as yellow, for your bridesmaids. This will ensure that you have the flowers that you love without them taking away from the beauty of your wedding.

Another thing that you should consider is the size of each hand bouquet. If at all possible, pick up a live flower hand bouquet, you will be surprised at the weight. Younger children are going to have a difficult time holding on to the bouquet for the length of the wedding, so ensure that it is an appropriate weight and size for the person carrying the bouquet.

Choosing the right hand bouquet is a very important element to your wedding, but it doesn't need to be a source of stress. Go with something that you love and make sure it goes with your dresses and decor and you should be just fine.
