subject: When Fashion Men Put On chunky High-heels [print this page]

Today, high-heels are typically worn by women, with heights varying from a kitten of 4cm to a spike heel 10cm or more. Extremely high-heels, such as those higher than 13cm, are not considered safe and practical but still worn by some fashion-loving women.

Men tend to enjoy seeing women in high-heels as they look sexier and more attractive. But how about a man wears on high-heels? Can a man wear on high-heels openly? The answer is Yes! On the latest 2011(spring and summer) Milan Fashion Show Prada publics its newest mens high heels, which, to be more accurate, are chunky shoes. They aim at increasing mens height, lengthening the lines of legs to make a man more confident.

The birth of high-heels dates back to the beginning of 16th century when people added height to the heels of their shoes so that they could solve the slipping problem in riding horses. French King Louis XIV was fond of wearing high-heels when he riding. It gradually became a fashion among the nobilities, and then among the lower class. But mainly they were men instead of women who worn high-heels. It is until modern time that women take over the privilege of wearing high heels. High-heels for men step down from the stage of history. Thus it is difficult for men now to call up their courage to put them on. Pradas designers are so clever that they do not add height to the heels but to the whole sole, which creates a low profile.
