subject: Dating Tips For Men - Re-program How You Think About Dating Women [print this page]

Most men are taught to have an over romanticized view on dating and women. They are taught to think of women as being delicate flowers that you should place high on a pedestal. They are taught to do things like buy her flowers and chocolates and jewelry, and that these things will make them appear to be the classic Prince Charming that all women have been waiting for.

Well, to put it mildly, that is a load of bunk!

While I don't think that men should become the kind of jerk that treats women like dirt, I also don't think that most men need to continue to believe in these "fairy tales" of dating and romance. Anyone that has any dating experience knows that the nice guys that do all of the "right" things are usually the ones that get looked over and passed up.

YOU NEED TO REPROGRAM HOW YOU THINK ABOUT DATING WOMEN...

Guys that are successful when it comes to dating women learn that to be the classic nice guy, you will end up getting walked over or just turning out to be her friend and nothing more. Why? Because all of these things, buying her things, they are forms of manipulation and they are also just examples of trying to "buy" her love.

Well, that's just not the way that it works. Women respond to what makes them feel attraction, not the things and the gestures that shows that you are trying too hard to make a good impression.

You need to reprogram your mind to see dating for what it really is. A chance to have some fun, go out with a woman, and THEN see what happens.

WIN HER OVER THE NATURAL WAY FIRST...

If you win her over the natural way, by having that chemistry and that attraction, and then you have a relationship- that is the time when you can go ahead and buy her things or do special out of the way kind of gestures. Until then, you need to focus more on building attraction with her.
