In Montreal, you can have the best of vacation in summer when its gorgeously warm with the Sun shining along a big list of activities to enjoy but expect a huge crowd and higher rates. The time of the year tends to affect the prices, events and crowds a great deal so make sure you come around Christmas, New Years Celebrations or Valentines if your wallet allows that. For the sake of tranquility, you can drop by during the quieter times of the year.

Canada Vacations Sightseeing in Edmonton

Edmonton is Albertas capital, second largest city (after Calgary) and centre of education, government and culture. If you are visiting, do check out the Whyte Avenue, the main street in Old Strathcona, for the restaurants and local stuff. If you are interested in art, you would like visiting the Edmonton Art Gallery to have an insight in to popular Canadian pieces of art. But the attraction that definitely stands out is West Edmonton Mall, the worlds largest shopping and entertainment complex, which is large enough to have a tropical forest, a roller coaster and an indoor bungee jump. The mall has 800 shops and 20 restaurants; however visitors have commented that the mall is only good for the sights and entertainment as compared to the shopping. The Alberta Legislature Building is another popular site to visit and see, with the additional benefit of tours inside the building that reflect on the provinces history and governments.

Canada Vacations Sightseeing in Vancouver

Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, Vancouver is located on the western border of Canada in the province of British Columbia. If you are interested in witnessing some breathtaking scenes right out of natures best books then visiting Stanley Park for its gardens, forests and playing fields would be an excellent idea. The best way to explore this beautiful landscape is to rent a bike or go trekking at the park. The Lynn Canyon Park is equally spectacular; especially because of the majestic suspension bridge it hosts (an equivalent of the Capilano Canyon Bridge). In the city, you have the option of going to Science World with your family so that your kids can partake in the interactive science exhibits and maybe catch a flick on the OMNIMAX Theatre. Another place in the whereabouts of Vancouver is Granville Island, a posh community with trendy shops and cafes for your pleasure.
