We have all been there from time to time. Everything's going great with our network marketing home based business and suddenly we seem to hit a wall. However, adding a little creativity in business can not only speed up your problem solving, it can enhance your entire business. Continue reading to learn how.
Business Problem Solving
Creativity in business is never as important than with business problem solving. By continuing to approach a problem in the same way it is not likely to ever get solved. But if you start to approach your business' difficulties in a new way, not only are you more likely to find a solution but you'll also learn more about yourself and your business in the process.
Five Steps
1. Admit to and identify your problem. Avoid placing blame on anyone, including yourself, and simply get accustomed to the idea that a problem exists. Write down a few words about what, exactly, the problem is.
2. Get some space from the problem. In order to come up with a creative solution you will need to step away from the problem. Take a long walk, ride a bike or take a nap. By creating some space between you and the problem you will be able to look at everything more accurately.
3. Try not to over think or over work the problem. Keep in mind that the solution to any problem is usually the most simplest. By immersing yourself too deeply in the problem you're likely to overlook an answer even if it's right there in front of you.
4. Approach the problem from a different perspective. Consider the problem from the point of view of your clients, customers, partners or anyone else affected by or involved in the problem.
5. Put together a group of friends, coworkers or other group of people who can help you brainstorm for possible solutions. Let the ideas flow freely and don't discount anything up front no matter how improbable or silly it may seem.
Keep Pressing On
Implementing more creativity in business doesn't mean that you won't still have to struggle sometimes, unfortunately. Don't allow yourself to get so frustrated with a problem that you want to throw in the towel. Repeat these steps if necessary and you're sure to find the answer you're looking for.
