Business Phones

When I say business phones, most people are thinking of phone lines. NO! I mean phones. Most business owners want a personalized business model, a personalized logo, a personalized website, and everything else about their business to be specifically personalized to their business. This is what you should do as a business. Stand apart, have your own identity. Now, why is it acceptable for you phones to be different. Your phones should be just as personalized to your business as your logo is. They should have functionality. If you business phone can only do what your cell phone already does, then you are missing the boat. I know in the past that the cost of PBX phones and phone systems were too much for a small to medium sized business to incur. Now we offer PBX phones, and the operating system for them, for as low as $18 per month per phone. Now, if this is too expensive for you to offer your business more functionality, then stop reading, go back to to business, and make sure that your employment application is up to date. PBX phones and systems give your business the ability to operate more efficiently than ever before, and more importantly, to personalize your business phones to your specific business needs. Are you answering calls concerning your location, and hours of business? Are you answering the phones just to give out a number to someone at a different office, then hang up? Or, are you answering the phone just to transfer the call to someone else in the office with a very specific job.? Do you only have one voicemail for everyone in the building, and have to write the messages all out each morning, and distribute peoples' messages like a mail man? These are just a few questions to ask when considering whether or not you have out grown your phones. The easiest question to determine this is... Have you moved your business out of your home and into an office? Then you should probably think about updating your phones. PBX phones and phone systems allow you to set up an auto attendant with menu tree dialing. Each person has a specific extension, and can be located by name or job description. This way, as the owner, you are not picking up the phone in the middle of your busy day to transfer the calls to you receptionist for an appointment. You can set up a line with an automated recording for location, directions, and hours of operations. This way no one is wasting your precious time by answering calls on how to get to your office, or will you be open on the Fourth of July? There is extension level voicemail. This way everyone has their own personalized voicemail and can check their own messages. You have the ability to have your voice mails converted to email in a wave file so that you can listen to it right from your desktop or laptop. Also this ensures that you can get back to those important calls right away. There are many more options, I could go on and on, but I think that you get the idea. This is a way for a potential customer to feel that you are established, and for you to run your business more efficiently.
