subject: The Danger Of Diet Pills - Why You Should Stay Away [print this page] I'm sure you've seen the advertisements right? "Lose all the weight and do it without pesky dieting or exercise!" Many diet pills make promises that they just can't deliver on. After all, they're just trying to suck as much money out of you as they can before it get's taken off the market for being dangerous.
Diet pills are a tempting weight loss solution because it sounds like it would be so easy. Just take a pill, change nothing, and I can live the life I want and still be thin, right?
Unfortunately, diet pills are more likely to make you sick than make you thin. Especially in the long term. Sure some may work for a few weeks or months. But your body will eventually right itself and the weight will come right back.
Last year the U.S. Food and Drug administration did some investigating and found 69 different weight loss supplements were "spiked" with harmful drugs that could cause strokes and seizures. Yikes!
Our bodies aren't made to be responsive to things like this. They are basically chemicals that screw with hormones in your body hopefully causing it to shed fat. Instead, you should do it the healthy way and just start eating a little better.
If you know what you're doing, you'll find that just small changes in what you eat can have a big impact on how much weight you lose over time. And you can eat good food, it doesn't have to be bland and boring. Don't settle for dangerous diet pills when there's a whole world of good stuff to eat out there that will give you 100 times better results.
