In short many manufacturers of these supplements are unfounded allegations and false. Documented food supplements such as multivitamins and fish oils are safe, and aim to support a healthy lifestyle, not to gain weight immediately.

3. Meal Replacement and fad diets - Once again, in the news a lot and then it can be dangerous for everyone and the weight returns once you stop eating them.

4. Intensive Boot Camps - Exercise is very good, but gradually intensifying workout is better. Intensive programs can cause injury and do not produce weight loss immediately.

5. Lap Band & Bariatric Surgery - Surgery may have survival benefits for the morbidly obese, but it is never a substitute for eating well. Surgery always carries a risk, and many patients regain weight.

Most programs on weight loss are scams at best and dangerous at worst for your body. If you really want or need to lose here is what I recommend: Get on a proven diet plan that fits your lifestyle. While this method will not produce immediate results or give you instant weight loss, you will immediately feel less bloated and full when you make moderate changes.
