A yeast free diet is a diet that is followed by those who are yeast intolerant and is intended to inhibit the overgrowth of Candida yeast within the body. If you notice that you have specific symptoms directly related with certain foods that you eat, then there is a natural way of curing the symptoms and making sure they don't come back. The great part about this is that there are natural ways to treat the overgrowth of candida.

Yeast makes a number of chemical compounds which the body picks up and absorbs. To most folks, they may not feel much effect. However, other people may have more of a sensitivity which shows up through vaginal yeast infections, diarrhea/constipation and headaches. And then there are the rest of us, whose bodies have a difficult time handling these compounds and toxins. We feel sick, but we can't figure out why.

The one thing that I always suggest is to take a look at the kind of foods that you are eating. That is the starting point because it is probably the culprit to what is causing most if not all of the symptoms. Certain foods need to be avoided or altogether eliminated from the diet because what happens is that certain foods almost are designed to promote the growth of yeast!!

It may seem like there are a lot of restrictions in the types of food someone can eat when they are adapting to a diet specifically designed to combat the over production of candida. However, you are in essence getting your body back to the basics of natural unprocessed foods that are truly what the body needs.

The most natural way to treat candida is to truly get your body back to the basics, and that is to avoid eating yeast foods over the course of six weeks. Over the course of following the diet for at least three to six weeks, there will be a huge die-off of yeast within the system. Your body will slowly adjust to the new diet and you will look and feel much healthier. You will definitely have much greater short-term and long- term energy reserves because your body will be flushing out the toxins from your system.

You might experience some flu-like symptoms from the body flushing out the yeast toxins into the intestinal and vaginal tracts, but that will go away shortly. When flushing out the body and getting rid of toxins, it is also good to drink a lot of water.

Shortly after the six weeks, you can begin to slowly incorporate some of your favorite foods back into your diet, but if the symptoms come back, you will then begin to pinpoint which foods you should definitely stay away from.
