Avoid The Speed Bumps That Could Slow Your Ireland Parcel Delivery

Parcel deliveries can take a long time if not done correctly, it may sound ridiculous to us but even one missed item of documentation or detail could bring a parcel delivery to a grinding halt. We may receive our parcel we sent out many weeks ago back at our door or possibly not hear from it again as it sits languishing in a sorting office somewhere.

There are ways we can ensure our parcels get to where they need to and as long as we follow these tips then we shouldnt run into any trouble when sending parcels to or from Ireland and any other country. Obviously making sure weve wrapped our parcels securely and not in some flimsy box or wrapping paper will make sure our parcels dont fall apart during the delivery process and keep the contents safe from harm.

Shipping loose items in a box is a good way to protect them from anything outside but some items shouldnt be able to move freely inside a box as they could be fragile and break during the delivery. Packing loose items in some form of insulation such as polystyrene, bubble wrap or a humble newspaper can keep your loose items safe during the delivery making sure they are not broken.

Proper labelling is important also; the label should clearly display the name and address of the recipient but should also clearly display your details (the senders) just in case there are any issues when sending parcels so the courier or postal service can send the parcel back to you or contact you about any issues, make sure you mark it clearly as being the senders details though, you wont want the parcel being sent to you by accident!

The last point which should be fairly obvious is to make sure you use a reputable parcel delivery specialist when you want to send something; it used to be the case that you had to send parcels via the post office but these days there is much more choice when choosing who to send your parcel via. Couriers and parcel companies are no longer so expensive or require service contracts like larger businesses so it may be worth checking with these companies if you could possibly use them as they are well known for being quicker and more careful with parcels.
