Like me, many people leave high school, stop moving around so much, and end up carrying a lot of spare weight. It's as though weight gain sneaks up on you, and there just doesn't seem to be any way to shift it, right? Wrong!
Easy weight loss is entirely possible, if you follow a few simple rules. These are:
Consume less calories than you burn. You don't have to exercise to lose weight (although it helps) as long as you are eating less than you burn, you will lose weight. That's not science - that's just common sense!
Easy weight loss is less about what you eat, and more about how you cook it. A baked potato, for instance is fine for easy weight loss. A mountain of french fries are not. Likewise, a grilled steak is a great weight loss friendly meal - but a breaded and fried one is not!
The time that you eat can affect how you lose weight too. If you're eating big, heavy meals late at night, you're going to gain weight. So save your main meal for breakfast or lunch, and have a light meal at night.
Your basal metabolic rate will affect whether you lose weight easily or not. If you want to raise it, try things like eating breakfast (a guaranteed metabolic rate booster) or doing light exercise. The higher your basal metabolic rate, the faster you will experience fat loss without doing anything!
Don't buy into pills and potions. Check the bottle. Everything that promises that you will lose weight overnight also says 'only effective in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet and exercise plan.' Lose the pills, eat healthily and exercise, even a little, and you will experience easy weight loss.
As you can see, there are some very basic things you can do to experience weight loss without dieting, and if you want to see results, why not try a few of them? Once they become a habit, you will look better, feel better, and like me, fit back into those jeans you wore in high school!
