subject: Can Men Wear Lace Wigs [print this page] In today's civilization, men are now under as much if not more pressure then women to have and maintain the perfect appearance. So if you're like the majority of my male friends you begin to lose your hair in your early twenties and the pressure becomes even greater. Over the decades there have been a mass of gadgets and creams entering the market aimed at men, who are losing their confidence as well as their hair. There are always those friends that will tease and the comedy writers that openly make fun of the idea that men would be so vain that they would use items such as spray on hair'. Of course the funniest and most well known sketches will always include a man wearing an unconvincing wig, so if no male in his right mind would be caught dead wearing a wig and the majority of men suffering from hair loss from their twenties; why are the magazines I read (granted not the most educational ones, I love my gossip too much), films I see, the music videos I watch filled with men aged 20 60 with full run your hands through it heads of hair.
Male toupees despite seeming taboo also seem to be extremely effective, even Hollywood starlets such as Brendan Frasier leading man in the Mummy, and George of the Jungle. Yes I like my films just as fanciful as I like my magazines. I love my life but a break every now and then is also nice. I asked a few of my male friends if they would consider wearing a wig if no one knew they were wearing one. After a lot of speeches about how they weren't insecure about losing their hair and that they would rather just shave it; I finally got a real answer from my friend Zan who shut me up with his reply of "I would if it got me, more sex and I didn't think I would have to take it off during."
Nice right? I already knew that a full lace wig cut into a male hair style would be just as natural as a full lace wig designed for a women and if it was designed with a widows peak it would appear that there had been a small amount of hair lose just to give a slightly distinguished look, but I wasn't sure about whether you would be able to "Exercise" in a full lace wig. It turns out you can "exercise" and even shower in your lace wig without the worrying about it coming off or showing that it's anything other then other then natural hair. However it is recommended to avoid friction or you full lace wig my have a shorter life then you had originally hoped. So you may have to become quite inventive, but I doubt you would get many complaints about using your imagination while "exercising".
